Funky Sisilia in Hod Hasharon

Anyone from Hod-Ha’sharon?! Don’t get nervous, we’re not from the “big brother”, just wanted to share some info about Funky Sisilia. A super cool bar brining the Tel-Aviv groove, class and sheik to Hod Ha’sharon. Get rid of the drive to down town TLV for a night out, a fun fun outing is right here on Derech Ramatayim.

You wanna go out? eat, drink, listen to some good music, catch up with your gang… well, we know the feeling. So we started a place we’d like to go out to. And since we think big, our place is huge – a quarter of an acre of pure fun and good time.

Funky Sisilia hasa few seating areas, each with a bit of a different vibe. The entrance which pours out on to the street, the inside bar and tables and a stunning back yard in which you must reserve in advance. No matter where you sit, you’ll feel Funky Sisilia.

Our famous, well made, juicy Funky Kebab is grilled outside in our back yard, served in pita with lots of tahini. We also grill our chicken livers out there (for a different fantastic dish). The scents and flavors are like a piece of heaven.

Speaking of heavenly scents – our tabun has a lead role in that department. Focaccia with olive oil, lovely cauliflower, chicken thighs (cooked for several hours with all sorts of roots) and more and more.

As for homemade food, wait till you taste what’s in Dina’s’ pots! Dina is one of the owners mother and boy does she cook… if you thought that Hreimeh (spicy fish dish) and Mafrum are served Fridays only, think again. We serve Dina’s food on a daily basis; each day brings with it a different special dish. Dina! We LOVE your food.
